Its a Dunkin', But It's Not A Donut

I remember seeing Dunking Booths at carnivals and fundraisers, but I never thought I would be the dunkee.  Just goes to show, you never know.

Becca Self, wizard behind FoodChain , called to ask for help with a fundraiser they are having at The Bread Box on October 6, from 4:00 to 8:00.  Before I fully understood what she was asking, I said “yes” because her project is wonderful and I want to help in any way I can.

Now I understand completely.  Between 5:00 and 5:30 on October 6 at The Bread Box you will be able to buy baseballs for a modest price to throw at a target that, if hit, will trigger the release of the bench I will be sitting on above a large tank of water.  And I will be the dunkee.

Other folks will be on the bench starting at 4:00 and going on until 8:00, and there will be many other attractions.  So come for as much as you can and support this worthy effort.  But really, whatever else you come for, don’t you want to be sure to come out and test your skill when I am sitting on the platform?
