First Open Meeting

I held my first Open Meeting on Tuesday, February 28th at the Downtown Library.  Over 20 people attended.  Thank you to all  who came.

Those who attended identified topics of interest at the beginning of the meeting and we managed to briefly cover all the suggested topics.  The topics were quite varied, including the budget, Parks and Recreation, the noise ordinance, the chronic nuisance ordinance, urban farm animals, health and wellness, and downtown development.  It was the general consensus that similar meetings would be useful approximately four times a year, with the format varied to include fewer topics identified prior to the meeting, and having someone from the Administration speak to a topic of interest.

Thanks again to everyone who participated.
