Crime Statistic Information

Residents can now find out more information about crimes in their neighborhoods and even sign up for alerts about recent crime activity on RAIDS Online.  Data from the LFUCG Police Department is uploaded daily and you can search by distance, crime type, and date range.  It also has graphs that show frequency, timeline, and day of the week.  It is a move towards more transparency in government and puts into the hands of the public the same technology used by law enforcement to analyze and interpret data.  You can sign up for alerts by clicking the button in the top right hand corner of the home screen.  Lexington now has one more tool in the fight against crime.
