Many thanks to the Lyric Theatre and to talented Lexington photographer Geoff Maddock for allowing us to display his striking photographs in my council office for the next few months.  You can view more of his wonderful photos here.

The photographs of places and events around Lexington were originally commissioned as part of the celebration of the opening of the revitalized Lyric and were hung in the community meeting space.  They are now part of the Lyric’s permanent collection  The above photo is one from the “East End Collection” entitled “Gospel Apprentice.”
