Charles Young Center

Last week I attended the first meeting of the Charles Young Center Task Force.  While in its earliest stages, it is the beginning of a conversation on how best to use this asset to the benefit of the community.   This is an issue that has been before the council ever since the decision to close the Center and rely on the new William Wells Brown Community School for many of the community activities formerly at the Center.  Let me know if you have ideas about the  best use of the Center.  The next meeting of the Task Force will be on April 6 at Shiloh Baptist Church from 5:30 – 7:00 pm.
