Seedleaf Shout-Out for Steve Feese

Steve Feese, director of the Division of Waste Management for LFUCG, gets a well deserved shout-out from the wonderful folks at Seedleaf.  Steve helped Seedleaf in their work on redirecting organic waste into a composting program.  Instead of having to be trucked to the landfill, the waste is composted to produce rich soil for gardens.  This is a fine example of the city working with other organizations–in this case a relatively new non-profit–to save community resources.  Their collaboration saves tax payer money and improves the environment.  What could be better?
